1. up an over garage doors:
Any garage door size is expressed as the internal frame size. This is usually slightly larger than the actual wooden door panel.
• For example:
If the internal frame to frame width is 7’0” and the floor to underside of frame crossbar is 6’6” – door size you need to order is 7’0” x 6’6”.If you are fitting to a new or existing timber goalpost frame we need to know this internal timber frame size and the size of timber used to make the frame. 70 mm x 70 mm is the popular size for a timber goalpost frame for a garage door. If smaller, not all types of door will fit, so please measure it and let us know.
To self quote and/or order your door:
• Under “Products and Prices”, please click on the type of door you want and follow the on screen instructions.

• Most up and over garage doors require a 70 mm square timber goalpost frame OR factory fitted steel frame.
The door size does not include the size of this frame.
• There are two ways of fitting an up and over garage door. Please see diagram A and B.
