Silvelox is a 40 year old family run Italian business. Silvelox manufacture the "Rolls Royce" of all garage doors. Silvelox employ 170 people in a "state of the art" factory in North East Italy.

The doors offer extremely high security, convenience and elegance. Silvelox doors are 80mm thick, have an internal steel frame, all round tubular gasket rubber seals and are fully insulated. The internal and external faces of the doors are made from 20mm thick multi-ply. This is faced with a wide choice of timbers and surface finished to individual customer requirements. All doors, including manually operated doors, come complete with electro mechanical Shoot Bolt security.

Silvelox doors are finely counterbalanced for smooth, light manual operation even on the largest of doors. Automation is available from Silvelox and is extremely popular on garage doors of this quality. Non-protruding versions of the doors are available where "kick out" of the door must be avoided (e.g. when fitting behind an Arch, door adjacent to a highway or a short driveway).

Silvelox are famous for their in-built pedestrian (or Wicket) doors. This popular option gives the convenience of being able to "pop into the garage" without having to open the whole door.

For extra security Silvelox offer "Secure-Plus". This door has a steel internal frame and an internal high tensile steel barrier. All Bolts are "drill resistant" and the hinges are Case Hardened.

Silvelox garage doors are sold on a supply and install basis through Arridge Garage Doors. Silvelox trained Engineers undertake all final Surveys and Installations to give every customer full peace of mind and a very high quality finished job.

Silvelox doors have a lead time of between 6 and 8 weeks. Silvelox doors are generally fitted onto the rear face of the brickwork opening which means that the substantial side units which contain the counterbalance system and the thick transom "crossbar" are hidden behind the brickwork giving maximum drive through width and height. A between the brickwork fit is possible if required.

Silvelox door prices, including installation start from approx. £2800 + VAT and the doors complete with a Pedestrian (Wicket) door from £3295 + VAT. Automation starts from £1067 + VAT.
